Colonel Earl Hopper served 30 years as an Army
Airborne Officer spending most of his time as an
Intelligence Officer during
the
Korean and
Vietnam Wars.
Colonel Hopper has devoted his life to uncovering the
truth about his son Earl Junior who is Missing In Action since his plane was
shot down over North Vietnam in 1968.
Colonel Hopper was a founding member and Chairman of the
Board of the National League of Families devoted to the return of living
American POWs of the Vietnam War.
Patty Hopper, Colonel Hopper's wife, who specialized in
research and analysis of POW related information for over 30 years. She is
considered to be a private
sector expert in government agency POW data bases,
the flow of information, and how it is handled.
